Blackstone Oven Rivals Wood-fired Ovens

You can call me the Blackstone Pizza Guy, or just the Pizza Guy. I started making pizzas at home in 2012 after the local pizza franchise made too many mistakes with my orders over a period of a few months. I figured why not bake my own pizzas at home, then I can have it the way I want, when I want, and at a much lower cost per pizza.

Blackstone Pizza Oven.

The crust comes out crispy on the outside and moist and soft on the inside, as you might expect from a wood-fire oven. The pizzas shown here were baked in a Blackstone propane oven with the floor temperature exceeding 800 degrees F. There are two stones, one on the floor and one in the top dome area. 

The Blackstone can bake thin crust pizzas just like they do in a wood-fired oven. A home oven will dry out the inside crust by the time the pizza finishes baking in about 10 minutes, but not in a Blackstone, which takes about two minutes or less when set on high.
